Pacesetter Steel Service, Inc. provides cut-to-length for steel coils for material thicknesses ranging from 0.015" to 0.130", widths from 2" to 72" and outgoing sheet lengths from 4" up to 244". Our precision cut-to-length equipment can produce metal in lengths within +/-0.015" for dry material and +/- 0.031 for oiled material. Our cut-to-length lines are equipped with levelers that are capable of leveling coil thicknesses between 0.015" to 0.099" with our Herr Voss corrective levelers that elongate the material beyond its yield point in order to remove internal metal stresses. Our cut-to-length equipment can process 50,000 lb. coils. For increased throughput and accuracy, the roll feed and grip feed cut-to-length lines have stacking tables with built in scales and automatic lowering and air regulated blower systems. In addition, each line has strippable applications and oiling capabilities.
Pacesetter Steel Service ensures the cut-to-length process exceeds our customers' requirements with quality control procedures that include a Set-up, In-Process and Final inspection of each skid which includes but not limited to the following inspections:
