Atlanta Steel Service Center- Slitting
 Pacesetter's Atlanta Steel Service Center provides high speed steel coil slitting for material thicknesses and widths ranging from 0.015” to 0.187” and 0.75” to 60”, respectively. Coil slitting is used prior to metal forming operations as a method of economically cutting high volumes of coiled sheet metal to precise widths within +/- 0.005”.
With full loop slitting and a combination of drag and roll tension stands, our steel slitting equipment can process 44,000 lbs coils. For quick turnaround times, the Pacesetter slitters are equipped with Braner stackers that quickly band coils up to 19” height and 12,000 lbs. Our operations are also capable of oiling and cleaning through drag wipe pads.
